Principal’s Message:
Melville Comprehensive School is a special place and I am honored to serve our students and families as Principal. Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of “The Comp” gave us adequate opportunity to reflect on a great many celebrations and achievements of students and staff. The resounding theme of our reflection is that MCS is a center of excellence and will continue to be into the future.
We look forward to continuing to grow in academics, citizenship, extra-curricular, inclusion, and support for all our students. Our recent revival of the Breakfast Program and the addition of the Cobra Closet helps serve the needs of our students while new class additions such as Mental Health and Well Being 20 and apprenticeship Credit opportunities. Further, we are happy to see many students engaging with high level extra-curricular sports and the addition of a STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) to round out their interests. Our new MCS monument demonstrates of commitment to another 50 years of success and opportunities here at MCS!
