Application Information

Prairie Co-op Scholarship Criteria - $500 scholarship
Prairie Co-op is committed to giving back to our communities and making a difference.
Applicants must be of good scholastic standing in Grades 10, 11, and 12. The scholarship is available to a graduating student attending post-secondary education at a Technical School or University. If either the applicant or the parent(s)/guardian(s) are Prairie Co-op members, please include the Prairie Co-op Member number on your application.


The application will be evaluated by the Prairie Co-op Scholarship Committee, and the recipient will receive their cheque at their school’s awards ceremony. Scholarships will be available at the following schools: Melville Comprehensive School, Bert Fox Community High School (Fort Qu’Appelle), Lipton School, Cupar School, Kelliher School, Ituna School, William Derby School (Strasbourg), Balcarres Community School, and North Valley High School (Lemberg).


There will be ONE (1) recipient for each school, selected out of the applications received from that school.

This award is available to an individual who exemplifies the core values of Prairie Co-op, which are excellence in working together and for our communities; integrity — being dependable, honest, ethical, and responsible; and progressive — moving forward through innovation and sustainability.

•Your name
•Your address
•Name of the high school you are currently attending
•Prairie Co-op member number (if applicable)
•Your plans for continuing your education, and proof of acceptance to a post-secondary institution
•Your essay outlining how you represent the core values of Prairie Co-op. This may include, but is not limited to: your academic standing, previous school awards, involvement with school activities and clubs, community or volunteer involvement, and personal growth or skills.
